What about eye movements in EMDR?

Participants will learn: 1) the research findings with respect to EMDR dismantling stuides; 2) the research findings with respect to the effects of eye movements on cognitive and emotional processes; 3) the components of the model that proposes that eye movements act as a distractor to the avoidance process in psychological trauma; and 4) the results of 2 studies designed to test the "distractor to the avoidance process" model.
