Incorporating EMDR in residential treatment

Description

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a relatively new therapeutic technique which appears to work in a rapid manner to assist clients in working through trauma. This paper will describe how the protocols have been incorporated throughout the program at a residential treatment facility for adolescent females, including how staff are trained, and how EMDR is implemented in Individual Therapy.
