Traumatic relief:  Area therapist helps Oklahoma City victims with new treatment

Description

After the Oklahoma City bomb blast killed 167 people, the call went out for help - and Centerville therapist Thomas Verdon headed west, spending a week helping victims cope with post-traumatic stress. He used Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, a method involving rapid movements of the eye that are believed to unlock and relieve disturbing thoughts.
