Description

Some mental health practioners have recognized the need for more integrative, holistic models of psychotherapy that focus on the variety of ways in which we process as well as store information -- affectively, physiologically, and sensoriallly, as well as cognitively. One of the most comprehensive and best-researched of these models is Shapiro's eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) model.
