Psychophysiological activation via trauma script in PTSD patients and matched healthy controls and its reversal after succesful treatment

Description

It is well known that hyperarousal in PTSD patients leads to an increase in heart rate to trauma related stimuli. The purpose of this study was to see if this peripheral physiological activation in PTSD patients by a trauma script can be reversed by successful trauma treatment including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
