Brief eclectic psychotherapy for PTSD: New evidence

Description

Brief Eclectic Psychotherapy (BEPP) is a multimodal treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) comprising five essentials: psychoeducation; imaginal exposure; writing assignments and mementos; domain of meaning and integration; and a farewell ritual. This symposium presents findings from two recent randomized controlled trials testing BEP versus a minimal attention control group, and versus Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
