Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) in the treatment of children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Description

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a recent, complex and increasingly popular method of psychotherapy that integrates successful elements of a wide range of therapeutic approaches. It uses eye movements or other forms of rhythmical body sensations such as hand taps or tones. The originator of this method asserts that it assists the brain’s information-processing system to process at a rapid rate.
