La preoccupazione relativa all’abuso sessuale perpetrato dal clero non è un fenomeno nuovo. E’ una forma di abuso sessuale che si verifica negli ambienti di tutte le religioni del mondo. Come sostiene il prete cattolico scomunicato Richard Sipe, nonostante il clero faccia del bene ai bambini e agli adulti, vi è molta consapevolezza rispetto al pericolo e alla loro potenziale corruttibilità.
Questa presentazione prenderà in considerazione alcuni aspetti essenziali delle esperienze dei sopravvissuti all’abuso sessuale perpetrato da membri del clero cristiani o religiosi da una prospettiva psico-traumatologica. Esplorerà le implicazioni relative all’utilizzo dell’EMDR con questi pazienti focalizzando in modo particolare sull’anamnesi, sulla concettualizzazione del caso, sulla fase di preparazione, e sulle implicazioni relative alla rielaborazione.
Concern about sexual abuse perpetrated by the clergy is not a new phenomenon. It 'a form of sexual abuse that occurs in the environments of all religions of the world. As stated by the excommunicated Catholic priest Richard Sipe, in spite of the clergy do good to children and adults, there is not much awareness about the danger and their potential corruptibility.
This presentation will consider some essential aspects of the experiences of the survivors of sexual abuse perpetrated by members of the Christian clergy or religious perspective from a psycho-trauma. Explore the implications of the use of EMDR with these patients, focusing in particular on the history, the conceptualization of the case, on the stage of preparation, and the implications on the recast.
Questa presentazione prenderà in considerazione alcuni aspetti essenziali delle esperienze dei sopravvissuti all’abuso sessuale perpetrato da membri del clero cristiani o religiosi da una prospettiva psico-traumatologica. Esplorerà le implicazioni relative all’utilizzo dell’EMDR con questi pazienti focalizzando in modo particolare sull’anamnesi, sulla concettualizzazione del caso, sulla fase di preparazione, e sulle implicazioni relative alla rielaborazione.
