Tampa Police confront trauma that stays beneath the surface but unhealed

In addition to small group sessions, Operation Restore uses a powerful therapy called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that uses rapid eye movements to process emotional trauma that won't heal. EMDR is also used to treat soldiers with PTSD and victims of assault.
