EMDR on auditive hallucinations and auditive intrusions. Preliminary results of a patient study

Description

In my presentation you will be informed about the latest research on auditive material (hearing voices, auditive intrusions) and modality specific taxing. At this moment EMDR is mostly performed on visual material. Preliminary data of two studies, one performed on auditive hallucinations in patients with psychotic symptomatisch and one on auditive intrusions in patients with PTSD will be presented. EMDR is performed directly on the auditive material, which is a new field of research for EMDR.
