Whatever the means of stimulation, it causes intensive production of eye movements, auditory, somatosensory and proprioceptive signals throughout the central nervous system. Electronic devices and PC software have been developed for producing such stimulations. They allow reproducible stable stimulation, perhaps with less fatigue and more attention to the patient.
