Treating early attachment wounding: Somatic interventions to enhance EMDR effectiveness

Description

Are your clients stuck in old patterns and negative self-concepts? Do you want to know more about how the body participates in those learnings? Are you interested in learning some somatic interventions to use as interweaves when the processing gets stuck? This workshop will demonstrate ways to integrate somatic interventions from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy into the 8-phase AIP Model to process emotional (procedural) memory. It will help participants begin to “read” the body for the limiting beliefs it holds, and will introduce them to a range of body-based interventions that can be used as interweaves when processing loops.
