Past & present EMDR: National influences on Local community

This presentation will review the national emergence of EMDR and address the local acceptance by and impact on the WNY community. Ongoing issues in the EDMR community will be covered, including the status of EMDR within agencies and insurance companies, emerging EMDR applications and protocols, and the development of more specific criteria for EMDR Certification.

1) understand the past development and growth of EMDR and impact on local therapy community;
2) obtain an update on the status of EDMR in agencies and insurance companies;
3) learn about emerging EMDR protocols and applications.
