A case presentation of complex trauma with First Nations woman using the phase oriented approach
Description
This 1.5-hour workshop will demonstrate the application for the phase oriented approach for the treatment of complex trauma using structural dissociation theory and EMDR through an in-depth illustration of a single case study of a First Nations woman. Case transcripts will demonstrate the use of the dissociative table, reducing the phobia to traumatic material, time orientation, and safely implementing EMDR trauma reprocessing.
