Using eye movement therapy to reduce trauma after intensive care
Description
After a trauma such as coming close to death, intensive care patients may develop post-traumatic stress disorder. A small pilot study shows benefits of eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy. This article comes with a handout for a journal club discussion.
