Lightning struck on June 28, 2013, igniting a wildfire near Yarnell, Arizona. On June 30th, this fire engulfed and killed 19 City of Prescott firefighters, members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. The Yarnell Hill wildfire event claimed the most firefighters killed in one day since 9/11. It was the deadliest U.S. wildfire since the 1991. [Excerpt]
