Description
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, can be a powerful therapeutic tool for those who have survived different types of trauma, whether it be a single incident trauma, childhood abuse, or abuse and toxic relationships in adulthood. EMDR is also highly effective for anxiety and depression because it targets the root causes and retrains the brain using more a more adaptive belief system. Use this journal as a place for your thoughts, your dreams, your moods, and any memories that come up between your EMDR sessions. There is also space to share gratitude and positive affirmations. You can share these notes with your EMDR therapist during session or you can use them to reflect on as you move through your journey of healing.
