Questo libro vuole essere direttamente utile alle coppie che sono alla ricerca di loro stesse, di un equilibrio, di uno stare-meglio e che sono un po' disperate anche dopo aver letto, nelle riviste e in opere ben fatte, dei consigli certamente sensati, ma che non hanno potuto applicare. Questo libro vuole essere anche utile ai praticanti in quanto mette in evidenza la molla che unisce le persone che si sono amate e che, spesso senza saperlo, continuano ad amarsi, dando loro dei mezzi concreti per aiutare al meglio i loro simili in difficoltà. Il libro si compone quindi di tre parti: la prima è dedicata alle situazioni di coppia, la seconda all'esposizione dell'odierna terapia di coppia e la terza alla terapia specifica fondata sull'EMDR. Ogni parte riporta, infine, dei casi esemplari.

This book also wants to be useful to practitioners as it highlights the spring that unites people who have loved each other and who, often without knowing it, continue to love each other, giving them concrete means to better help their fellow men in difficulty. The book is therefore composed of three parts: the first is dedicated to couple situations, the second to the exposure of today's couple therapy and the third to specific therapy based on EMDR. Finally, each part reports exemplary cases.
