How IFS informed EMDR could strengthen EMDR’s capacity to treat complex cases

Description

In this presentation, Annabel outlines the crossover and complementarity between Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR: two of the most powerful memory reconsolidation therapies around, as well as the differences. She shares a composite case study of a complex presentation to explore more tangibly what IFS-informed EMDR looks like in practice. Some of Annabel’s presentation has already been published in a series of articles in the EMDR Therapy Quarterly, so participants will have a written text to accompany her presentation.
