Hurricane Pauline impacted Mexico in 1997 and prompted the birth of Group EMDR Therapy. The EMDR Integrative Group Treatment Protocol EMDR IGTP is the first and most researched EMDR Group protocol. Various applications and benefits are discussed. We explored how EMDR-IGTP utilizes the EMDR Therapy eight phases. The multiple benefits of the EMDR-IGTP-OTS are examined.
