本ポスター発表では、ゴキブリに対する特定の恐怖症を対象に、眼球運動脱感作と再処理法（EMDR）の有効性を検討した。従来の行動療法である対抑制法との比較を通じて、EMDRの治療効果を評価した。参加者は両手法によるセッションを受け、主観的な恐怖評価および回避行動の変化を指標として分析が行われた。結果として、EMDRは対抑制法に比べて恐怖反応の迅速な軽減と情動処理の向上を示す傾向が見られた。本研究は、動物に関連する特定恐怖症に対するEMDRの有効性を示唆するものである。

This poster presentation explores the effectiveness of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in treating individuals with a specific phobia of cockroaches. The study compares EMDR with counterinhibition techniques, a traditional behavioral approach that introduces a competing response to reduce fear. Participants underwent sessions using both methods, and outcomes were assessed based on changes in subjective fear ratings and behavioral avoidance. Results suggest that EMDR may offer a more rapid reduction in fear responses and improved emotional processing compared to counterinhibition. The findings highlight EMDR’s potential as a viable treatment for specific animal phobias
