Effectiveness of butterfly hug therapy on reduction of stress and anxiety of students' anatomy laboratory examination basic biomedical sciences diploma 3 nursing study program

In order to improve the quality of globally competitive education, one of the STIKES in Yogyakarta packages the learning method for Basic Biomedical Science courses with anatomy laboratory exams as part of the assessment system with the aim of assessing students' competencies and skills in an objective and structured manner. Academically, the anatomy laboratory exam system is very helpful for students in recognizing and understanding anatomical physiology in the Basic Biomedical Sciences course. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted on July 7 2023 on five students who took the anatomy laboratory exam simulation, data was obtained that two students who took the anatomy laboratory exam simulation for the Biomedical Sciences course said they were stressed while taking the exam, because they had to master the material and the time required. short during the exam process. Two other students said they were worried about the results of the anatomy laboratory exam simulation because they experienced panic during the exam. Another student said he liked the anatomy laboratory exam method, but it made him nervous and couldn't sleep to prepare for the anatomy laboratory simulation exam. Excessive anxiety and stress can have an impact on students' psychological problems.
