Dual focus treatment: OCD and PTSD

Description

Clients who are diagnosed with OCD often have a comorbid trauma diagnosis. It is essential that clinicians understand the similarities and the differences in OCD and PTSD symptomatology. Symptoms often overlap; however, they differ in functionality. Participants will learn a comprehensive interview questionnaire that helps delineate PTSD from OCD symptomology and discern the complex factors in dual focus treatment. In addition, case conceptualization with concurrent treatment of OCD and PTSD are examined.
