Strengths & difficulties in using EMDR in child care settings

Description

Children and young people residing in care settings can present with additional complexity and co-morbidity, often requiring much adaptation beyond standard EMDR protocol and existing child and/or young people modifications. With their extensive experience of working within the residential sector, Katie, Elen and Carl explore some of the difficulties faced when working with this client group.. They identify how they have overcome these challenges and delve into the strengths of working with a care team and delivering EMDR in this unique setting.
