Demystifying the EMDR future template: The often forgotten 3rd prong

There are few aspects ofthe standard protocol that are as misunderstood and underutilized as the Future Template. EMDR clinicians are familiar with the Third Prong as dealing with the future, however many struggle with understanding the various components of the 3rd prong.This workshop will clarify its components and explore and differentiate the various ways we can help clients enhance and generalize their ability to use adaptive information for future situations, even when they aren't fully ready for phase 4 reprocessing. There will be a review of RDI and the Future Template including how it fits with case conceptualization and the type of BLS to be used.
