<br /><br />The study focuses on the evaluation of a group therapy aiming to enhance self-care in patients with a primary diagnosis of Complex Trauma. The group's approach is experiential psychoeducational, integrating EMDR theory and polyvagal theory. The intervention consists of 8 sessions that address emotional regulation and self-care through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques. The conceptual framework is grounded in the understanding of Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD). EMDR psychotherapy is presented as an effective approach to addressing traumatic memories, based on the Adaptive Information Processing Model. This work describes the structure and techniques used in each session. The study design includes pre-post assessment using CORE-OM and the Self-Care Scale, with the objective of evaluating therapeutic progress and self-care improvements. The results confirm that the group has been beneficial for therapeutic progress and enhancing self-care in patients with Complex Trauma.</text>
