Outcome research on behavioral and cognitive-behavioral treatments for trauma survivors

Description

In this chapter, we describe the current status of outcome research on behavioral and cognitive-behavioral therapy for PTSD. In this endeavor, we describe these treatments and outline their empirical foundations, providing rationale for their use. We then review and critique the existing research and propose future directions for outcome research.
