特集 エンボディされた自己に向けて(後編)EMDRと身体的介入,自我状態療法の統合 Toward an embodied self: Integrating EMDR with somatic and ego state interventions

Description

Specifically, we discuss the use of different body therapy interventions to increase body awareness and mindfulness, their use for the development of somatic resources, and their usefulness in maximizing the integration of traumatic memories and action tendencies. Furthermore, we present techniques to enhance accessing ego states and how to use them to resource the client and to enhance efficient EMDR processing. We give guidelines on how to gauge when to proceed with EMDR processing and when to resort to body therapy or ego state interventions alone. Moreover, strategies are provided on how to integrate these techniques with regard to the preparation targeting, as well as interweaves in conjunction with the eight-phase EMDR protocol. [Excerpt]
