Early EMDR interventions with Syrian refugees in Turkey: R-TEP and G-TEP

However, almost all of them had serious war traumas in Syria. The aims of the project were training and supervision of local therapists and as a result of this provide early intervention to the refugees who live in the camos. The early intervention includes Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP) and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP) which could help to reduce effects of trauma, prevent or decrease PTSD/complications of trauma and as a result of these reach more refugees. Thus, the main aim of the study was to see if EMDR R-TEP and G-TEP is effective or not.
