高畑洋（2015）は、発達障害と児童虐待が併存する複雑な症例に対して、EMDR（眼球運動による脱感作と再処理法）を用いた簡易心理療法の可能性を検討している。従来の言語中心の介入が困難なケースにおいて、EMDRの非言語的・身体感覚的アプローチが有効であるとされ、短時間かつ低負荷での介入が可能である点が強調されている。症例報告では、情動調整の改善、フラッシュバックの軽減、対人関係の安定化などが観察され、発達的特性に配慮したEMDRの応用が、複雑な心理的課題への新たな支援手段となる可能性が示唆されている。

In situations where verbal interventions are limited, EMDR’s nonverbal and somatosensory techniques offer a low-burden, time-efficient alternative. Case reports show improvements in emotional regulation, reduction of flashbacks, and stabilization of interpersonal relationships. The study suggests that developmentally sensitive EMDR applications may provide a promising therapeutic option for addressing multifaceted psychological challenges in children.
