Wie ein EMDR-interventionspraktikum im nichtärztlichen psychotherapiestudium gestaltet werden kann - Die rundlaufmethode nach Tony Brazil

Mit der Reform des Psychotherapeutengesetzes (kurz PsychThG) wird ein sogenanntes nichtärztliches Psychotherapie-Direktstudium geschaffen. Entwürfen des Curriculums ist zu entnehmen, dass die Studierenden Anrecht auf Patient/-innenkontakt und praktisch fundiertes Kennenlernen der Psychotherapie-Richtlinienverfahren haben. Da EMDR eine seit 2015 in die Psychotherapievereinbarung von Kassenärztlicher Bundesvereinigung und GKVSpitzenverband aufgenommene Psychotherapiemethode ist, stellte sich aus Reihen der akademischen Lehre die Frage, die an die Erstautorin herangetragen wurde, wie Studierende die Wirkung von EMDR selbst erproben könnten. Auf der EMDR Europe Conference 2018 in Straßburg wurde eine sogenannte EMDR-Rundlauf- Methode vom EMDR-Supervisor Tony Brazil vorgestellt, dessen Rundlauf- Handout von den Autor/-innen in zwei Stufen auf Verstehbarkeit und Umsetzbarkeit überprüft und modifiziert wurde. Die Ergebnisse können als Grundlage für die deutschsprachigen Psychologie- und Psychotherapie-Fachbereiche dienen, Studierende unter Anleitung eines EMDRSupervisors/ einer EMDR-Supervisorin mit der Wirkung des Reprozessierens in den EMDR-Phasen 3 bis 7 praktisch vertraut zu machen.

In two separate stages, the handout about this method was checked for comprehensibility by the authors of this article and modified accordingly.
