A meta-analytic comparison of EMDR to other trauma treatments: Effectiveness, efficiency, and acceptability to clients

From an exhaustive literature search, 40 studies were identified which featured a comparison of EMDR to another treatment, A team of three blind rates selected those 19 studies that featured random assignment as well as active comparison treatment. Another blind team of three rated those studies on investigator allegiance, treatment fidelity, and other factors.
