EMDR addiction treatment - from dual diagnosis to the addiction memory

Since Dr. Francine Shapiro 1994 advocated the use of EMDR in addiction treatment focussing on the comorbid PTSD different treatment options have been developed. Research on addiction memory and the elaboration of the AIP model laid the foundation for the devlopment of EMDR protocols in the field of addiction treatment. Hase will outline the history of EMDR addiction treatment and cover the literature up to date.
