Die Beziehungsgestaltung steht im Mittelpunkt des zweiten Kapitels. Neben dem Krankheitsmodell des EMDR, dem AIP-Modell, werden auch Aspekte des individuellen Vorgehens und besonders schwieriger Therapiesituationen dargestellt. Die Arbeit mit inneren Anteilen wird erklärt und die Haltung von Großzügigkeit und Kontrolle erläutert.
