EMDR therapy with integrative bridging: A conscious, compassionate approach for building more connection between the adult self, the little self and the guiding self, for complex trauma

Description

EMDR Therapy with Integrative Bridging is especially designed for clients with complex trauma. Integrative Bridging EMDR provides a comprehensive approach for filling in some of the developmental attachment gaps of complex trauma. The internal bridging is centered between the three key parts of self : the adult , operative self, the child, or little one and the wise, guiding self. Specific resources are developed for the child self to access. Steps to build an authentic, compassionate connection with the little one are incorporated , especially in phase II, IV and VII. As the resonance and unification of the child and adult aspects become more strengthened, there is a greater ability to access the guiding self. Ways to resonate with the guiding self will be demonstrated. This presentation will focus primarily on practice. Dialogue, imaginal resources, art process, somatic attuning and creating new agreements of togetherness and separate roles will be part of this dynamic, active presentation.
