Enhancing attunement, attachment and coregulation: An EMDR protocol for children and adolescents and their caregivers

Description

The purpose of this workshop is to articulate an integrative trauma treatment model that merges mind and body focused approaches with EMDR to meet the needs of children who have experienced trauma. This integrative model serves as the EMDR protocol for children and adolescents at the Trauma Treatment Center and Research Facility (TTC), located in the Southwest United States. We will examine the needs for foundational skills, building a safety net and relationship building prior to engaging into trauma focused therapy. Participants will be provided with video examples od utilizing various tools in session.
