RCT: EMDR-derived self-help intervention in children in the period of COVID-19

Description

This study examines a unique self-help protocol, designed using eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) techniques, to reduce children's anxiety about COVID-19 and traumatic distress. The study was conducted early in the pandemic, in May 2020, with students aged 8–10 from a public school in Gaziantep, Turkey.
