“Are we there yet?"

During the last year demand for psychological interventions has increased due to a number of factors. This, as well as personal factors, has led me to reflect more on how to best provide effective EMDR therapy. Questions asked during EMDR Case Consultation regularly focus on this area. They include: a lack of progress within therapy; queries on the need to complete a targeting sequence or more general: what to focus on next with all my complex clients. The presentation will cover my conclusions so far, a range of potential answers to these questions and how implementing my ideas has worked for my own clients.
