The EMDR autism toolbox

The EMDR Autism Toolbox: This practical workshop will consider the 8-phases of EMDR therapy and how they can be adapted when working with autistic clients. It will draw on case studies, clinical experience and research. Therapists will leave with ideas as to how to incorporate autism into their formulation and practical ideas as to how their therapeutic practice can be made accessible for this client group. This workshop will work best for those who have attended the earlier presentation on autism and trauma, as it will assume that therapists have an understanding of the changing nature of autism and the neurodiversity paradigm.
