Assessing dissociation: Individual, group and crisis intervention

Description

Research indicates that up to 11% of the population experiences dissociation, with a significant portion of individuals in therapy presenting with these symptoms. Despite this prevalence, dissociation assessment remains inadequate in both individual and group trauma treatment settings. It takes an average of 5 to 12 years for a client to receive a dissociative disorder diagnosis in individual therapy. This training aims to equip clinicians with specific dissociation assessment techniques for individual, group, and crisis settings, ensuring a faster and more accurate diagnosis for their clients and improving treatment outcomes.
